Classical music is one of the richest inheritances of our world. As part of our mission, Glendale Symphony Orchestra Association, one of the oldest and
finest Arts organizations in the United States, has spent many years contributing to the preservation of that inheritance and it’s tremendous impact on
personal education and development. Some of the ways we fulfill our mission is through educational programs for children and by providing affordable
access to concerts, for everyone.
We invite public and private foundations to join in unison with Glendale Symphony Orchestra Association and support us with institutional funding.
Currently, we are interested in monetary and non-monetary (in-kind) grants. Our organizational, administrative and fundraising expenses require less
than 15% of the total annual budget, which leaves over 85% to be used for our programs and events.
We are a public non-profit corporation, determined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to be tax–exempt under the Section of 501 (c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code in March, 1959. It is our policy to keep accountability and transparency.
Our Business Development & Fundraising Committee will be happy to forward our Case Statement and Fundraising & Sustainability Plan upon request.
