Volunteering with the Glendale Symphony Orchestra is a great way to get involved in the Arts, meet new people, gain experience
in the administration of a non-profit organization and help bring classical music to the community.
Volunteers are an integral part our organization and we have a variety of opportunities available.
Listed below are some common volunteer activities.
Dedicate a minimum of 2 hours per week to help sort mail, update the address list, make phone calls to members, write the history of the organization, pick up donated items, decorate baskets, help with filing, tasks related to special projects and other activities.
On the day of an event or performance, you can help us by passing out information, taking photographs, setting up refreshment areas and serving snacks, setting up chairs, greeting and host/hostess functions.
For every ten hours that you volunteer, you will receive one free ticket to a Glendale Symphony Orchestra concert (valid for the current season.)
